The Band

Sean
Sean Hunt, vocals

Sean, the voice of the band, has no formal musical background, although he suspects he comes from a long line of shower and car singers, which is where he got, and still gets, most of his practice.

Before helping to found Disc4, his last on-stage musical gig was as a London Bobby singing The Rainbow Connection in the eighth grade. Still, his love of music of all kinds shines through, whether he's singing an east coast shanty or Blue Rodeo.

His other on-stage love is Althea Productions, a community theatre troupe based around the U. of T.'s Scarborough Campus. When he's not trodding the planks acting or singing, he splits time between being bench coach for the New York Yankees, a barnstorming pilot, a translator for the United Nations, and, more regularly, owner of a computer consulting firm in the GTA.

Dave
Dave Lee, guitar/vocals

Dave graduated from the Music Industry Arts programme at Fanshawe or as he likes to call it "Rock School".

He is a serious CD-aholic and can be found driving downtown in the rain, Tuesday nights checking out late night record shops (okay well usually not Tuesday night, and it's more like he hops on the subway to go downtown).

His influences include Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea, Blue Rodeo, John Mayer, the Waltons (the band not the TV show), and of course, Hilary Duff (she's great)!

Rob
Rob Cooper, keyboards/accordion/vocals

Rob handles the various musical and non-musical squeaks, squonks and squeals for Disc4. He calls them piano, organ and accordion sounds, but we're still not quite sure why.

Rob has previously worked with such diverse artists as Harem Scarem, Ken Tobias, and Nash the Slash. He has shared some of the largest stages in Canada with acts such as Van Halen, Foreigner, April Wine, Honeymoon Suite and Trooper.

Rob presently works with a number of projects in and around the Toronto area.

Kevin
Kevin McNamee, drums/percussion

Kevin contributes to Disc4 by laying down the solid rhythms that help get people up and dancing. A father of two and devoted husband, he has commented that Disc4 represents a chance to hang out with people he can relate to: we're just like his kids! :-)

Kevin's additional music projects include Little Alex, a recently reunited group of musicians that Kevin first started working with some 20 years ago. A CD comprising all original material is scheduled for recording/release in 2006.
